    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Cath Lab Techs work under the supervision of the physician, operating X-ray equipment, performing as a surgical scrub assistant, and preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

    • Prepare patients for procedures, reviewing medical history, positioning patients and cleaning/shaving/numbing the testing sites as appropriate
    • Monitor patient pre- and post-procedure, reporting any abnormal findings in patient’s condition
    • Assist with equipment, supplies, and lab area set up and room turnovers
