Temporary License Processing
It takes approximately 30 days to receive a temporary license Delaware after all necessary documents have been received – the license is valid for 30 days (must not have any prior convictions or disciplinary action to obtain).
To receive a temporary license in Delaware you must also have a current job offer in the state of Delaware.

Temporary licenses are only issued while other required documents are being processed. There are additional steps that must be completed to receive a permanent license.

Reinstatement:
- In Delaware, RN licenses expire on February 28th, May 31st, or September 30th of odd years only.
- Reinstatement must submit proof of 30 hours of CEU and also have a criminal background check completed.
