The Healthcare Travelers Take Conference, held in New Orleans on May 8-9, 2023, was an exciting event for healthcare professionals seeking new opportunities and exploring the world of travel nursing. Gifted Healthcarewas proud to be a part of this year’s event and was represented by Gifted teammates on our Recruitment and Credentialing teams.

Guest speaker Tania Loumiet, RN and CNO of Gifted Healthcare, delivered a compelling presentation titled “How to Find the Right Environment.” Her talk provided valuable guidance to travel RNs on how to identify the ideal work settings that align with their personal and professional goals. Tania’s insights and background knowledge of nursing aimed to enhance job satisfaction and fulfillment in their travel nursing careers.

At the conference, nurses had the opportunity to ask questions to a panel of recruiters from the industry. Gifted Healthcare was honored to have two of our recruiters, Georgette Wendt and Sarah Williams, represent the company on the stage. Georgette and Sarah shared invaluable insights into the hiring process and provided strategies for candidates to differentiate themselves in highly sought-after job markets.

Throughout the event, RN attendees stopped by the Gifted Healthcare booth, where they had the chance to connect with the Gifted team.  In addition, booth visitors had the opportunity to enter a giveaway for a chance to win the grand prize—a $200 Southwest gift card.

The Healthcare Travelers Take Conference offered a wealth of information through expert speakers, insightful panel discussions, and meaningful networking opportunities.
